This free online course teaches the user about fundamentals of using a coordinate measuring machine for metrology. Completing this course will give a basic foundation on metrology concepts and their applications to CMMs.  Students will learn the history and industry applications of the coordinate measuring machine, along with introductions to concepts such as alignments and proper measuring practices.
